Natural Solid Queensland Boulder Opal Pendant with adjustable waxed cotton cord.
The stone is a freeform teardrop shape. The matrix contains pinfire of bright purple, blue and green opal.
Approximate dimensions are 21mmx14mm, carat size 10ct.
The pendant contains a 6mm faceted Chrysoprase stone.
Chrysoprase is believed to help with mindfulness, emotional balance, and growth, and is associated with the heart chakra, the center of love, compassion, and healing.
The pendant is threaded with a black waxed cotton cord with two Tiger Skin Sandalwood beads to hold it in place.
Total weight is 5g.
Only found in Western Queensland, Boulder Opal formed millions of years ago in seams within ironstone or sandstone boulders where silica rich water seeped down into cracks and crevices and over time formed opal. Only a rare few will exhibit the amazing patterns and vibrant colours associated with this type of opal.
