Natural Solid Queensland Boulder Opal Double-sided Drilled Pendant with adjustable waxed cotton cord necklace.
The pendant is a freeform teardrop shape which has been drilled through the face of the stone. The stone has intricate patterns and multi-color flashes of bright red, orange, green, blue and purple.
The pendant contains an 8mm faceted Chrysoprase stone.
Chrysoprase is believed to help with mindfulness, emotional balance, and growth, and is associated with the heart chakra, the center of love, compassion, and healing.
Approximate dimensions are 21x16mm, and weight is 11.5ct.
The pendant is threaded with a black waxed cotton cord with two sterling silver beads to hold it in place.
Total weight is 6.3g.
Only found in Western Queensland, Boulder Opal formed millions of years ago in seams within ironstone or sandstone boulders where silica rich water seeped down into cracks and crevices and over time formed opal. Only a rare few will exhibit the amazing patterns and vibrant colours associated with this type of opal.
